Cards Against Paediatric ECGs

To play:

1. Allocate 30-45 minutes per teaching session.
2. Divide participants into teams of 2-3, or individuals can use the cards as revision flashcards.
3. Spread out the green and yellow cards, shuffled, for all teams to access.
4. Present each team with a patient case card. They must discuss and select the best diagnosis and management plan from the shuffled cards.
5. The objective is for teams to correctly match a green and yellow card to form a complete patient case. Teams can use the same cards if another team has chosen them.
6. Award points for correctly identifying each card and for explaining their choices. An answer key is provided to help match up the letters and symbols.
