Respiratory Therapists play a huge role in the health care team of providers and this episode it’s dedicated to creating public awareness on what their profession it’s all about! We work in the Outpatient, emergency and ICU sitting side by side and they represent a crucial piece of the care for patients with airway and cardiorespiratory problems. COVID19 epidemic has created many questions about breathing issues and the need for ventilatory support in this critically ill population and for that reason, Mr Cerveleon is here to give us first-hand information in how we treat these patients and enlightens us on the role of the Respiratory Therapist during the course of management of this specific group of patients during their disease process.
