In this game, players will enhance their ability to memorize the names and placements of anatomical structures relative to others, making learning a typically challenging subject enjoyable. The goal is to form two sequences of three and four cards each, representing the sequential (deep to superficial) order of the five primary anatomical components in each suit.
Here’s how it works: The dealer deals seven cards to each player, and the remaining cards are placed face down with the top card flipped over to start the discard stack. Players take turns, selecting either the top card from the discard pile or a card from the face-down pile. They then decide which cards to keep and discard any extras. The first player to assemble two sequences of three and four cards each must name three structures (e.g., three bones, three muscles) represented on each card.
Other players consult a reference sheet listing all structures on each card to verify correctness. If the player fails to name at least three structures on any card, they deduct 1 point from their score for each omission. The player with the winning hand tallies the value of their laid-down cards, subtracts points for any unnamed structures, and adds the total to their score. Conversely, losers add the value of their cards and subtract it from their scores.
The game concludes when a player reaches a predetermined score, or if a time limit is set, the winner is determined by the highest score at the end of the period.
