Liver Land!

Liver Land is a board game designed for early clinical students to learn about liver diseases. Before playing, students are encouraged to watch a short video tutorial on liver-related blood tests. The game includes questions about liver disease and asks players to use their knowledge of liver pathophysiology to predict typical blood test results for different conditions.

The game was tested with third-year medical students, who gave positive feedback such as: “Game was a refreshing way to learn and test knowledge. 10/10 would do again!” and “Fun way to practice thinking about LFTs.”

Almost 90% of students said they were likely or very likely to apply what they learned in patient care.
