About 95% of pressure ulcers can be prevented. The Stop The Pressure Game is created to help organizations eliminate avoidable pressure ulcers. It improves patient safety training for health and social care staff by focusing on pressure ulcer prevention. The game encourages staff to discuss risk factors and ways to manage and prevent pressure ulcers.

Two teams compete by answering questions about pressure ulcer prevention. The questions are designed to spark discussion and idea sharing, allowing players to learn from each other’s experiences and knowledge.
