Game of Stools

Developed by the Infection Prevention team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Game of Stools explores Clostridium difficile in an engaging and fun way. The game encourages discussions among frontline health professionals about infection prevention and how to manage and stop the spread of C. diff infections. It helps staff improve their knowledge and confidence in handling C. diff, which supports preventing outbreaks and ensuring patient safety.

Game of Stools makes infection prevention training enjoyable, informative, and effective. Two players or teams compete by answering questions and explaining facts about C. difficile while trying to avoid landing in isolation with dangerous C. diff. Players win by earning the most Brownie Points or by being the first to successfully treat a “patient” for C. difficile.
