GridlockED

This game was co-designed by emergency medicine faculty and medical students. Its purpose is to help future doctors learn systems approaches to patient management in a safe, low-pressure setting.

In GridlockED, players work together to treat and prioritize patients, building collaboration and communication skills.

The game offers a realistic experience of an emergency department without the high-stress, life-or-death consequences.

While designed for medical students, the game is enjoyable for anyone, even those outside healthcare. It has been tested and approved by doctors, nurses, residents, and consultants.
